On November 7, 2007, Rizhao Gangda Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established.

On December 3, 2008, it was approved by the Qingdao Branch of the China Classification Society for the construction of ships with a capacity of 25000 tons and below, as well as for the onshore repair and modification capabilities of ships with a capacity of 200000 tons and below.

On March 19, 2009, it was put into trial operation.

Obtained the "Fishing Vessel Construction Qualification Certificate" on January 25, 2010.

On March 26, 2010, we signed the first foreign order - the construction contract for a 59M multi-purpose offshore supply ship with Singapore Eagle Energy Limited.

Obtained relevant certificates through quality system certification on May 31, 2010.

On June 26, 2010, it was approved by China Classification Society and the CCS Welding Examination Committee of Rizhao Gangda Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established.

On May 1, 2011, a contract was signed with Shenzhen Guanghui Petroleum (Holdings) Co., Ltd. for the construction of 10 Guanghui 4100 ton finished oil tankers.

On October 28, 2011, the production conditions of a Class III steel general ship production enterprise in Shandong Provincial Defense Science and Industry Office were evaluated and reviewed.

On March 21, 2012, the first foreign-related order of 59M multi-purpose supply vessel was delivered.

On March 18, 2013, the construction of a 5000KW fully rotating tugboat began.

The first 4100T finished oil tanker was delivered on January 22, 2014.

On October 28, 2014, the construction of a 2500T lift floating dock began.

On April 26, 2015, the construction of a 3676KW oil spill recovery ship began.

On April 8, 2016, the 42 meter leveling dredger "Shangong 1" independently developed and constructed was completed and delivered.

On November 17, 2016, the major renovation project of the Xiangyanghong 06 scientific research ship was completed, realizing the unmanned engine room and DP1 dynamic positioning functions of the ship. A multi beam system, retractable anti roll fins, double bow side thrust, and shaft generator were added.

Obtained fishing vessel design qualification on December 27, 2016.

On March 3, 2017, Rizhao Port Shipbuilding Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. was established, and Rizhao Port Da Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was transferred to Shipbuilding Machinery Industry Co., Ltd.

On April 1, 2017, the 5500 backhoe dredger of large marine engineering ship was successfully started.

On October 31, 2017, obtained the qualification for the design and construction of marine ranch platforms, and became the second fishery platform design and construction unit in Shandong Province to be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture.

In August 2018, it was named as the "Shandong Ocean Farm Platform Research and Manufacturing Base" by the Shandong Provincial Oceanic Bureau.

The first ocean ranch platform built on October 3, 2018 in Rizhao City - Blue Ocean No.1 was successfully delivered.
